Will I meet someone here?
We will make sure to provide you with opportunities to meet, mingle, interact, and get-to-know someone in a safe and honest environment. That’s why we have continuous speed dating, cool programs/presentations, dating games, and happy hours in the daytime and the ultimate VIP Dating Party at night. I’m coming from out of town and NEED A HOTEL.
We’ve got GROUP RATES available at http://singlesdatingconvention.hotelplanner.com/ Is there anything to eat at the convention?
Yes! The Plano Centre offers a Concession stand with many healthy choices for lunch and snacks. Concession hours: 11am - 7pm. Also, there are vending machines in the East Hall for your convenience. Can I register on-site?
We cannot guarantee it, due to the high number of attendees. Make sure you’re one of the fabulous people who register in advance. You can even save money the earlier you register! Advance tickets $39, At the Door $59 How do I get my Badge/Event Pass?
Badge Pick-up is On-site ONLY and will open 1 hour before the convention begins - Saturday 10am.
YOU MUST BRING A PHOTO ID and your E-ticket to get into all events.
Remember, if you’re a FAST PASS badge attendee -- you have special access line! Do I need to wear my badge?
You will need your badge to attend any Convention function, including the VIP Dating Party. If you’re asked by security to show your badge, please do so. I’m under 18, can I get in?
Absolutely not! No one under the age of 18 is allowed at the convention. Can I get a free pass?
Yes, just sign up as a volunteer. Volunteers work 3 hours and get a free Event pass! How will I know what’s going on at the convention?
Everyone will get an Events Guide upon receiving their badge. It is chocked full of information about the daily programs, stage shows, give-a-ways, specials and cool happenings around the exhibit booths. Check it out! Can I video a presentation?
No video or audio recording is allowed at the Convention. Any one caught doing so, will forfeit their recording device and be removed from the premises by security. Can I smoke?
No Smoking is allowed at any convention event at any time and in any location. You may step outside to smoke, but please be courteous of fellow attendees. This policy is in place, not only for the comfort of attendees but in compliance of Plano city ordinances prohibiting smoking at public events. Is paging available?
Paging is not available. Please use cell phones. What if someone refuses to take no for an answer?
Plano Police Officers are on-duty for your convenience and protection. Will there be Alcohol available at the Happy Hours?
Yes, full-service CASH Bars will be open from 5pm - 7pm. YOU MUST BE 21 Years of age to consume alcohol at the convention. Is there an ATM at the convention?
